The 28,250 square-foot Evansdale Greenhouse consists of two primary structures, the headhouse and the greenhouse area.
The headhouse features:
- Two classrooms with laboratory and presentation capacity, created with the support of Jim “Apples” McClelland
- Office facilities for staff
- A tissue culture room
- A cooler
- A reference room
- A large open work area
- A student lounge, created with the support of John and Joyce Allen
- A conference room, created with the support of the West Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association
- 15 growing rooms
- A mist room
The affixed, pre-existing plastic facility features a 9,635 square foot space for cultivation and sales.
