The 28,250 square-foot Evansdale Greenhouse consists of two primary structures, the headhouse and the greenhouse area.

The headhouse features:

  • Two classrooms with laboratory and presentation capacity, created with the support of Jim “Apples” McClelland
  • Office facilities for staff
  • A tissue culture room
  • A cooler
  • A reference room
  • A large open work area
  • A student lounge, created with the support of John and Joyce Allen
  • A conference room, created with the support of the West Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association
The greenhouse area features:
  • 15 growing rooms
  • A mist room

The affixed, pre-existing plastic facility features a 9,635 square foot space for cultivation and sales.
